Packing...

Eek!
I have four seasons of packing to fit into two small bags...!
Argh!
I feel rather like the Crowded House song 'Four Seasons in one Day', well, in one bag anyway...
Picture me rummaging in drawers to find items I like but won't miss too much if the airport carousel decides it needs a quick snack, and throwing them onto the bed, only to emerge above drawer level to realise that there is no way on earth that the monster mountain of vests and trousers reclining on the duvet is going to fit in three bags, let alone two...
*sigh*
I'll just have to start again... Later... When the sun's gone in... Maybe...

Never mind - by the time I get around to shoes, sunblock and mosquito spray, I'll probably have thrown out all the clothes except a lone t-shirt.

Guess there's always New Zealand to buy woolly vests in preparation to going to chilly America. :)

On the plus side - I've ordered my snazzy new spare sun/glasses, have places to stay and seem to have sorted out the documents I'll need - only a few more bits and some packing left to do before I leave on Friday - hooray!
